The Scheduler page shows work schedules for all employees in a monthly calendar grid. This article explains the layout, navigation, and display options.

How to open the scheduler

Click Scheduler in the left sidebar.

Layout

The scheduler shows one month at a time:

  • Each row represents an employee

  • Each column represents a day of the month

  • Shifts and absences appear as colored blocks in the grid, using the color assigned to each shift/absence type

Employees can be grouped by department and division. You can also reorder employees using custom sort orders.

Navigating between months

Use the left/right arrows at the top to move to the previous or next month. Click on the month name to open a month picker for quick navigation.

Template sidebar

The left side of the scheduler shows a template sidebar with two sections:

  • Absences — available absence types (with a + button to add new types)

  • Shifts — available shift templates (with a + button to add new templates)

You can click or drag templates from the sidebar onto the schedule to create events quickly.

Display settings

You can change how shift blocks are displayed in the calendar. Options include:

  • Start/End times — show the shift start and end time on each block

  • Duration — show shift duration in hours

  • Object — show the work site/location name

  • Initials — show the shift template initials

  • Blank — show colored blocks only with no text

Summary columns

Next to employee names, configurable summary columns display:

  • Scheduled hours — total planned hours for the month

  • Overtime — overtime hours based on the schedule

  • Period hours — hours for the accounting period

Filtering

Use the filters at the top to narrow the schedule view:

  • Sub Type — filter by specific shift or absence type

  • Objects — filter by work site/location

  • Employees — show specific employees

  • Departments — show specific departments

Right-click context menu

Right-clicking on any cell or shift gives you quick actions: Add, Edit, Delete, Copy, Paste, Publish, and Unpublish.

Publishing and printing

The Publish button in the toolbar publishes the schedule, making it visible to employees. The Print button generates a printable schedule report that can be grouped by alphabetical order, division, or work object.
