Begin supports an IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system that allows employees to register working hours by calling a phone number. This is useful for employees who work remotely or do not have a smartphone. This feature must be set up by a Begin admin.
How it works
Call the designated Begin registration phone number provided by your admin.
The system identifies you by your phone number (it must match the number in your Begin profile).
Follow the voice prompts to start or end your working time.
If required, enter your PIN code and select the work object using the number keys.
PIN code registration from a landline
If calling from a landline (which may not be linked to your profile), you will need to enter your personal PIN code to identify yourself:
Call the registration number.
When prompted, enter your PIN code using the phone keypad.
Follow the voice prompts to register your hours.
PIN code registration from a mobile phone
Even from a mobile phone, you can use PIN code registration if your phone number is not linked to your profile. The process is the same as for landline registration.
PIN calculator
Some setups use a PIN calculator device for additional security. The employee enters their PIN on the calculator, which generates a one-time code to enter during the phone call.
