Some fingerprint readers support pause registration and object selection directly from the device, without needing a phone or computer. This article gives a quick overview — see the detailed articles linked below for setup instructions.
Pause registration
When enabled, employees can register pause (break) start and end times directly on the fingerprint reader. The pause duration is tracked separately and deducted from total working hours.

Object registration
If your company uses multiple work objects (sites/locations), employees can select an object when clocking in on the device. The selected object appears on the timesheet for that shift.

Replacing an RFID card
If an RFID card needs to be reassigned to a different employee:
Go to the original employee's profile and remove the RFID identifier.
Go to the new employee's profile and add the RFID card as a new identifier.
Sync the changes to all devices.
