The Begin Time mobile app is the most common way for employees to track their working hours. This article explains how to get started with the app.
How to download the app
Open the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) on your phone.
Search for Begin Time.
Download and install the app.
How to log in
Open the Begin Time app.
Select your preferred language (English, Estonian, Lithuanian, Latvian, or Russian).
Enter your email address or phone number (the one your admin registered in Begin).
Enter your password.
Tap Log in.
Forgot your password?
If you have an email address set in your Begin profile, tap Forgot password? on the login screen. Enter your email and Begin will send a password reset link. Make sure the email matches exactly (including uppercase/lowercase letters) as it was entered by your admin.
Location permissions
When using the app for the first time, your phone will ask if you allow Begin to detect your location. Allow this permission — it is required for the app to verify your location when clocking in and out (if your admin has enabled location tracking).
App settings
Tap the gear icon in the bottom-right corner to access settings where you can:
See your name and username
Log out (useful if multiple people share one device)
Set up working time reminders
Change the app language
