In the software, it is possible to give each employee many different rights in addition to registering their own working hours. Let's see how to give an employee:
The right of administration, or the role of an administrator - a full-fledged user who can change all possible settings in the software, manage employees, work schedules, and objects; add, change, and delete working hours and generate reports. To grant the right, you must first open "Settings" - "Employees" and then open an existing employee from the "Edit" button or double click on employee. Select the "Permissions" tab and set the employee to the administrator under "Role," and then save the given changes.
Granting optional rights, i.e., the Manager role - works similarly to granting administration rights, i.e., to grant rights, you must first open "Settings" - "Employees" and then open an existing employee from the "Edit" button or double click on employee. Select the "Permissions" tab and set the employee to the "Manager" role. Then, from the opened list, select the necessary options for the user by marking the box in front of the option in blue.
Employee permissions:
Disable web portal access - can be used for case, when employee should only register time without accessing portal.
Billing - allows manager increase or decrease user limit.
General rights - these rights allow a user to manage core system settings, including creating or modifying administrators, departments, objects, and job types.
Schedule rights - these rights determine a user’s level of access and actions available in the schedule.
Reports- the user has the right to generate reports
Timesheet rights - these rights allow the user to manage timesheet entries, including adding and editing timesheet entries, as well as overview overhours and underhours.
Request files, Devices, Identifiers, Job Units, Jobs, Organizatio, Integrations - these rights allow user to create, overview, update and delete data related to these Modules/Settings.
Permissions to see objects and departments:
It is possible to determine whether the administrator can see all objects + departments in the company or give them only optional rights.
A user can also be assigned as a Sub-approver, which means they cannot make any changes to a timesheet once the main approver has confirmed it.
