Written by Merilin Peetris

The Rounding settings allow you to automatically round working times.
This helps reduce minute-level differences and simplifies payroll calculations.

To configure:

  1. Click on Settings from the left-hand menu.

  2. Click on Rounding.

  3. Select the rounding method and precision.

  4. Click Save changes.

1. Select the rounding method

You can choose between two methods.

Equal rounding (up or down)

Times are rounded using standard rounding rules.

Examples:

30-minute rounding

  • 09:16 → 09:30

  • 09:14 → 09:00

1-hour rounding

  • 09:16 → 09:00

  • 09:31 → 10:00

Company-favorable rounding

Times are always rounded in the direction that benefits the company.

Examples:

30-minute rounding

  • Start 09:16 → 09:30

  • Start 09:14 → 09:30

  • End 16:46 → 16:30

1-hour rounding

  • Start 08:31 → 09:00

  • Start 08:52 → 09:00

  • End 16:49 → 16:00

2. Define what should be rounded

After selecting the method, choose which values are rounded and to what precision.

You can round:

  • Total hours
Only the total hours in reports are rounded.

  • Start times
All recorded shift start times are rounded.

  • End times
All recorded shift end times are rounded.
