The Work schedules settings define how shifts are planned and how the system validates the schedule.
To configure:
Click on Settings from the left-hand menu.
Click on Work schedules.
Adjust the settings.
Click Save changes.
Selecting shift type
Choose how your company operates.
Multiple shifts
Select Yes if your company uses different shift types.
After saving, you can plan different shifts for employees as needed.
Single shift
Select Yes, certain times if your company uses one standard shift.
With this option the system automatically generates the same shift pattern for the next three consecutive months.
Preventing schedule conflicts
You can enable automatic detection of overlapping shifts.
When enabled, the system checks schedule overlaps and when shifts overlap with each other, an error message is shown.
Overnight Shifts on Single Line
This setting controls how overnight shifts (shifts that continue past midnight) are displayed in the schedule.
Enabled: Overnight shifts are split between the two days and displayed like regular shifts (e.g., 22:00–24:00 and 00:00–06:00).
Disabled: Overnight shifts are shown as one continuous block spanning across midnight on a single line.
