Importing an employee list into Begin software can streamline your operations by reducing manual data entry. Follow these steps to ensure a successful import.
Step 1: Prepare Your Employee List
Before you start, make sure your employee list is saved as a CSV file and includes the following columns:
Personal Code
First Name
Last Name
Email
Country Code
Mobile Phone
Location
Department
Employment Start Date
Workload %
Export Code
Here's an example of what your CSV file should look like:
Step 2: Access the Import Feature
Log in to your Begin account.
Navigate to the Employees section from the gearwheel.
Click on the Import Employees button.
Step 3: Upload the CSV File
Drag and drop your CSV file into the designated area or click to select the file from your computer.
Ensure your file meets the requirements (e.g., the file must be in .csv format and should not exceed 10MB).
Once uploaded, review the data preview to ensure everything is mapped correctly.
Click Import to finalize the process.
After the import process completes, Begin will notify you of any issues. If there are errors, make the necessary corrections in your CSV file and try the import again.
