If previously the employee could only leave additional information via a comment, now we have also added the option of taking pictures. Each image is associated with a specific object, and it is also possible to add captions, markings, etc., to the picture.
The very first step would be to enable this feature in the Begin software. This can be done by users in the role of administrator and/or manager (if they have been granted the appropriate rights).
NB! If you do not see the ability to take a picture in the app after saving this setting, please make sure you have the latest version of the Begin Time mobile app on your phone.
To start the working time, the user has to press the blue "Start" button, which starts the process of starting the working time. The employee is directed to the view of additional working time information, where they can specify the object/job type/work - according to how the company administrator has set the settings. In order for the option of taking pictures to appear, you must select an object!
By clicking on the “Photo" option, you can take a picture with the camera or upload it from the album. When taking a picture with the camera, you can either use the picture ("Use photo") or take a new one ("Retake"). If the image is suitable, then it is possible to add signs and markings to the image - there are several different colors to choose from. Press the "Cancel" button to undo the action.
Once these actions have also been taken, the next step is to click on the "Save" option (on the top right of the screen), and you can also add a comment and file name. After pressing the "Send" button, the application will inform you that the image upload was successful.
All pictures taken in the application also reach the software and are visible under the object
(Gear wheel --> Objects). When opening the object from the "Edit" button, the "Gallery" option is available in the site information window, where all photos related to the given site go. In the gallery, it is possible to sort pictures by name, author (employee), date of creation, or comment.
In the gallery view, it is also possible to delete photos, download them, and import files from the computer to the object.
You can also see information about adding a picture on the timesheet. Namely, the addition of a picture is indicated by the camera icon appearing in the "Photo" column.
By clicking on the camera icon, the gallery view below the object will open for the administrator/manager (if they have been granted the appropriate rights).
