First, you need to download the Begin Time v2 app from the Google Play Store for Android or the Begin Time App Store for iOS, and then run it on your phone.
As a first step, the user can choose the system language: English, Estonian, Russian, or Latvian.
The next step is for the user to log in. The user ID is the e-mail address or phone number of the employee specified in the system by the administrator user. The password is also assigned by your company's Begin system administrator. Press the "Log in" button.
The timer view opens for the employee, where information is also displayed on the screen, depending on whether they have a working time/break already or if they want to start it right now via the application.
To start the working time, the user has to press the blue "Start" button, which starts the process of starting the working time. The employee is directed to the view of additional working time information, where they can specify the object/job types/work - according to how the company administrator has set the settings.
NB! When using the app for the first time, the device will ask if you allow the Begin application to detect the location of the device. It is important to allow this so that the application can detect the location of the device and give permission to start the working time.
Next, fill in the fields. If any field is mandatory (for example, the object field in the previous image), it is set that way by the administrator. When selecting an object, it is possible to use the search bar or select the object manually from the list. If the correct object cannot be found (for example, the administrator has not managed to add the correct object to the employee in the system before the start of the shift), you can select "No object" - when the shift is finished, you will be asked to select the correct object again. If the employee selects "No object" at the end of the shift, the object field remains empty on the time sheet.
Similar to selecting an object, the employee can enter the job type and work (displayed only if the administrator has assigned them to the employee).
The user is always positioned at the start and end of working hours if the positioning is required by the system administrator.
By pressing the "Start" button in the upper right corner of the screen, the working time will start running.
The working time has been started, and the user is shown the current working time timer with additional information on the selected object/job type/work in a white bar below the screen.
If the user has the right to change the time sheet or working time (added by the administrator), they can delete the working time or change the starting time of the working time by clicking on the white bar at the bottom of the application. You can also add a comment to the working hours there.
You can also change the start of working hours by clicking on the "Start time" box. The work time change view opens, where the user can choose whether to change the start date or time, or both.
You can start a pause by pressing the "Pause" button under the current working time. A view of the current pause timer is displayed to the user.
If the user has the right to change the time sheet or working time set in the system, they can delete the current pause or change the start time of the pause. To do this, press the round button with three dots at the end of the current pause. A view for deleting the pause or changing the start time will open.
To end the pause, press "End pause". The working time continues, and the timer view of the current working time is displayed.
To end the working time, the user must press the button "End".
The user is taken to the working time additional information view and positioned to end the working time. If desired, the user can change the site or add a comment. The working time is terminated by pressing the "End" button in the upper right corner of the screen. The user is redirected to the timer home screen again, where a new working time can be started if desired.
In the bottom right corner of the screen is a gear wheel icon. Through it, you can:
see the employee's name, surname, and username;
log the user out of the application (e.g., if the same smart device is used by several people);
set reminder for notifications for starting/ending working time;
change the application language if desired.
